Ambrose currently carries on a mixed practice with mainly insurance defense and dispute resolution, along with collections and builders liens.  He has represented clients at all levels of courts in British Columbia, as well as before the Residential Tenancy Branch and Employment Standards Tribunal.  He brings experience from working in different geographical regions in British Columbia, from the Fraser Valley, the Thompson-Okanagan, and BC’s South Coast.  He can provide legal services for clients in fluent Cantonese.

Ambrose obtained his law degree at the University of Manitoba where he was awarded the Dean’s entrance scholarship and the Canada Law Book Prize in Civil Procedure.  Prior to law he worked in the field of food safety and quality, working with a major food service provider.  He was a board member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kamloops and Region, and was a commissioned member of the British Columbia Patient Care Quality Review Board.  He assisted with the establishment of a pro-bono clinic in Kamloops in 2011 and has been a volunteer mentor for law students at Thompson Rivers University and University of British Columbia.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, spending time with family and doing light duty maintenance on his car, which he uses to participate in grassroots novice motorsports throughout the Pacific Northwest.
