Sheila is a business and real estate lawyer, who helps her clients make pragmatic legal decisions that align with their personal and organizational values. Her core practice areas include commercial transactions, real estate and secured lending, corporate structuring, and estate planning. In addition, Sheila advises a broad range of social enterprises, non-profits, and registered charities in respect of their social ventures and community economic development projects. 


Originally from the Fraser Valley, Sheila now lives in Vancouver with her husband, and her beloved pug Basil (who runs her life).  When she’s not working, Sheila indulges her love for the arts, literature, and world travel. She is a violinist with the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, an avid gardener with the Strathcona Community Garden, past chair of Beauty Night Society (working with women and youth in the Downtown Eastside), and current chair of the Scotiabank Dance Centre.
